Discovering the Bible’s Inner Meaning

In this session, we will explore a metaphysical approach to scripture—one that looks beyond literal interpretations to uncover the deeper meanings embedded within biblical stories, symbols, and characters.

Rather than asking, “Did this happen?” we begin asking, “What is this story revealing about the human experience, spiritual growth, and the unfolding of consciousness?”

You’ll learn how metaphysical interpretation has been used within Unity and other mystical traditions to uncover fresh insights from familiar passages. We will explore practical tools for reading scripture symbolically and discover how biblical narratives can speak directly to our lives today.

Whether you’re new to the Bible, returning after years away, or looking for a richer spiritual understanding, this class offers a fresh and engaging way to encounter sacred text.

The Sacred Wave Within invites us to experience the Beatitudes in a fresh and transformative way. Rather than seeing them as rules to follow or rewards to earn, we will explore them as invitations to awaken to the spiritual qualities already present within us.

Like a wave moving across still water, each Beatitude carries a spiritual insight that touches every part of our lives. Together, these teachings create a pattern of awakening that invites us into greater compassion, deeper understanding, and a more conscious relationship with Spirit.

Each “Blessed are…” opens a doorway into a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationship with Spirit. Through these timeless teachings, Jesus points us toward humility, compassion, mercy, peacemaking, and the courage to live from the heart.

Together, we will uncover the deeper meaning beneath the familiar words and discover how the Beatitudes continue to guide us through the challenges and opportunities of everyday life. As we explore each teaching, we may begin to recognize that blessedness is not something found outside ourselves, but an inner awareness that unfolds as we grow in wisdom, love, and spiritual understanding.
